![]() ![]() Operates even on worse pcs what you cant say from the new one. Actually there is more new stuff in it than in the new Civ VI. TL DR Do not play this game if you are a fan of other Civ games, but also do not underestimate how fun this game can be. why are we fighting in the water!?!? This would be much cooler if there was a second "space map" where you can deploy orbital and space military units that float over your land units. The biggest problem are gunboats, naval combat is WAAAYY too strong. Rising Tide adds more content for "fun", but is extremely unbalanced. ![]() That being said, if you like space and feeling like the ruler of a sci-fantasy space empire, then you will love this game. One thing Civ fans never mention, is the fact that this game has no Nukes, but rather has a bunch of cool late-game technologies such as Phasal Teleportation or Laser Satellites. This game is not very strategic, is very imbalanced, and copies too much from Civ 5. ![]() The beautiful ambient music makes you feel like you are in a distant world.Īfter playing through Civ 5-6, I can definitely see why the fans hate this game. That being said, these games are an AMAZING immersive colonization simulator. It may not be ethical, but it can bring the fun back into your life if you've been having a hard time dealing with the game.I was completely introduced to Civilization through Beyond Earth/Rising Tide, so I had no idea that this was copied from Civ 5. ![]() In case you are having trouble with the game, this Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide Trainer allows you to activate the Mega City Population perk with a simple press of a button. As such, your main goals are to expand your territory and destroy everyone that tries to stop you. It was a historically-based 4X game until Beyond Earth was released, but except for the theme, the gameplay mechanics haven't changed in the meantime. In case you are not familiar with the franchise by now, the Civilization series has been around for many years. As such, this is much more than a regular DLC, but the price is equally high as well. The pack brings a lot of new content to the table, including four new factions, the possibility to colonize the ocean, hybrid units, and two new biomes. Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide is an expansion pack that poses as a DLC for the rather disappointing original game. ![]()
